"MIGHTY MEAT LOAF is making a comeback with former DARKNESS frontman JUSTIN HAWKINS steering his return to the big time.

Wow. What a combination. I predict Meat Loaf's voice and the rocker's guitar magic will spell sure-fire success. Hawkins has penned five tracks for the forthcoming collection. And I understand an eight-minute axe epic called Love Is Not Real is the standout song so far."

"SO now we know what JUSTIN HAWKINS, former frontman of THE DARKNESS, has been doing with his time. The wailing rock singer has been carefully tending to this wonderful piece of face flora.

Justin grew it for Movember, the prostate cancer charity initiative to raise funds. But the HOT LEG singer - whose Christmas Time (Don't Let The Bells End) was one of the most successful modern Xmas songs - loves it so much he's kept it."

"Way back in December 2003, The Darkness were riding high upon the crest of a wave of success that stemmed from the absolutely massive success of their debut album, Permission To Land. It was only natural for the most inventive and exuberant British rockers in recent memory to release a soon-to-be classic Christmas single.

In a classic FAIL, ‘Christmas Time (Don’t Let the Bells End)’ got to #2 in the UK Singles Chart having been beaten by that Donnie Darko song. Close but no cigar, though The Darkness can take some solace in having beaten the Prince Of Darkness and Kelly Osbourne. If you don’t already, you should follow Justin Hawkins on Twitter. He’s still one of the most awesome men in the world of rock."

Justin has posted a blog on his MySpace about the band Foxy Shazam and his writing for Meatloaf:

"Foxy Shazam are the future of music. I met Eric Sean Nally earlier this year and I've been writing with him for Meat Loaf. He is a great writer and easily the most exciting performer out there. We make a great team!

You should check these guys out before everyone else realises that they love Foxy Shazam. They are playing in London all week. I'm going to go to as many shows as I can, because they write awesome songs and are the most exhilarating live band I've ever seen.

Check out their myspace for details of their shows. Hopefully I'll see you there."
